Lookout Shutters Inc opened for business in 2000. With our focus set on introducing new innovative products into the Hurricane Protection Industry, we developed our line of Storm Protection Products using clear LEXAN® to give the impact resistance needed while offering added features like letting light in and allowing homeowners to see out for security. We have built our business on giving the consumers just what they were asking for; durable protection systems that are lightweight, quicker and easier to operate, and will not leave their loved ones in the dark without knowing what’s going on around them. Our in-house design/engineering team continually seeks out opportunities to use our knowledge and experience to develop leading-edge protection systems for both homeowners and business owners nationwide. We have now successfully designed, developed, and produced three premiere product lines for the Hurricane Protection Industry. Lookout Shutters Inc. offers the Clear Accordion Blade, the Composite Shutter Line of Colonial, Sliding Colonial, and Bahama Shutter, and our flagship product; The Lookout Clear Storm Panel made with LEXAN® sheet.

 

All of our hurricane protection products are fully tested and are approved for use by all known codes including the new Florida Building Code, TDI, and ICC, and Miami/Dade. Lookout Shutters, Inc. will continue to lead the industry with fresh ideas and innovative products to help consumers protect their homes and businesses when trouble threatens.

 

Facility

Our Calhoun, GA. facility, a 45,000 sq. ft. building, is centrally located, enabling us to service all coastal areas. We have in-house engineering, sales, and research & development teams as well as training facilities for our technical support representatives.  We have on staff a professional engineer complimented by an independent professional engineer.  Our production team has an estimated 62 years experience of manufacturing construction products.  Our company is well managed, experienced, and financially sound with enough capitol to grow and service large accounts.

 

Lookout Shutters South, located in Fort Myers, Florida services our central and southern Florida regions with products distribution and local technical support. The Fort Myers branch will also serve as a manufacturing hub for many of our hurricane protection systems.
